The Houston Branch of The International Dyslexia Association would like to thank our supporters, attendees, artists, speakers, and exhibitors who make this event exciting and informative. We also thank our many donors for their continuing support of the Houston Branch, its events, and publications.

The International Dyslexia Association (IDA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals with dyslexia, their families and the communities that support them. IDA is the oldest learning disabilities organization in the nation -- founded in 1949 in memory of Dr. Samuel T. Orton, a distinguished neurologist. IDA membership consists of a variety of professionals in partnership with individuals with dyslexia and their families. They actively promote effective teaching approaches and intervention strategies for the educational management of dyslexia. The organization and its branches do not recommend or endorse any specific speaker, school, instructional program or remedial method. Throughout our rich history, our goal has been to provide the most comprehensive forum for parents, educators, and researchers to share their experiences, methods, and knowledge.
