We will also be honoring Kimberly B. Harrison, Ph.D!
Dr. Harrison is a clinical psychologist who has spent her career helping neurodiverse individuals discover and maximize their superpowers while learning ways to manage challenges. She is the founder of The Conative Group where she provides psychoeducational evaluations for individuals of all ages and offers consultations to parents and educators on a variety of topics. From learning differences to ADHD to autism spectrum disorders, Dr. Harrison is skilled in uncovering root issues which cause problems at home and school. She also is well known for offering practical recommendations which incorporate personal strengths to create emotional balance. She is a firm believer in the power of creativity! In addition to her daily work as a psychologist, writer and speaker, Dr. H. is a professional artist with a focus on oil and acrylic painting. Also, her new book, Screentime As Dessert: A Parent’s Guide to Reclaiming Children from Device Overload is already helping families find new ways to balance technology use and incorporate more diverse experiences for personal growth.
