The International Dyslexia Assocation

The International Dyslexia Association, Inc. (IDA) is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) charity, organized and operated to provide advocacy, resources and services to teaching professionals, advocates and individuals and families impacted by dyslexia and other related learning differences.

The Academic Language Therapy Association (ALTA)

 The Academic Language Therapy Association (ALTA) is the professional credentialing organization for those trained in Multisensory Structured Language Education and Therapy. ALTA Certified Academic Language Therapists and Certified Academic Language Practitioners provide effective, evidence-based reading and writing instruction to individuals with dyslexia and related learning disabilities.

ALTA is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization based in the United States of America, incorporated in 1986, with over 5,000 members. Certified ALTA members have met rigorous training requirements, have passed the national Academic Language Therapy Association Competency Exam for Multisensory Structured Language Education and maintain high ethical standards.

Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Association

The Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Association (TSHA) is a professional membership organization that is the recognized resource in Texas for:

  • Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) and speech-language pathology assistants (SLPAs)

  • Audiologists

  • Students of speech-language pathology and audiology

 

Speech-language pathologists and audiologists are highly educated professionals who provide critical, life-changing help for hundreds of thousands of Texans of all ages and from all walks of life.
