The Houston Branch IDA is excited to welcome our amazing teachers, wonderful students, and dedicated parents back for another school year! We hope you’re ready for a year filled with exciting learning, new experiences, lasting friendships, and plenty of moments worth celebrating!

Teachers, thank you for all you do and continuing to learn more about structured literacy and implementing best practices for all students. Students, bring your curiosity, your persistence, and grit to become confident learners. Parents, thank you for advocating for your child each year and being the light your child needs to be successful throughout the school year.

HBIDA is here to support you every step of the way. We want to be a resource for our teachers and schools by helping provide opportunities for professional growth, educational resources, student enrichment, family engagement, and community partnerships. We’re committed to listening to what our schools, teachers, students, and families need and finding supportive ways to lend a hand. Whether it’s supporting classroom initiatives, celebrating student accomplishments, encouraging literacy and learning, or simply showing up when our school community needs us, HBIDA is ready to serve.

As we begin this new school year, let’s remember that education is a team effort and we’re all on the same team!
